Frequently asked questions

Is our data safe?

Yes. Your demo accounts stay encrypted and are never shown, not even to you. Ondaclip films the environment you choose, and your workspace is isolated from other customers. If your policies require it, everything runs in your own infrastructure and nothing leaves it. Read more about security.

Where does Ondaclip run?

On Ondaclip Cloud, hosted by Ondaclip, with nothing to install. Or, if your policies require it, in your own infrastructure (Google Cloud today), and nothing leaves it. Your product itself can be hosted anywhere.

Does someone have to record the videos?

No. Ondaclip replays your real product in the environment you choose.

Do we need to change our product?

No. Ondaclip can suggest test IDs in a pull request your team reviews, so it always finds the right buttons.

Who writes the narration?

You describe what you need in your own words. Ondaclip writes the script, and your team approves it before anything is filmed.

How do you know a video is out of date?

With each release, Ondaclip films the screens again and compares them with the published video. Real changes are shown side by side, before and after. Minor noise is ignored.

Where do the videos go?

To private storage, on Ondaclip Cloud or in your infrastructure. Your product shows them in its learning section, and they're never public by default.
