For engineering teams
Your tutorials keep up with your releases.
The script is a file in your repository. Every release checks it, re-films the video when needed, and keeps a record.
1The script
A script is a file.
It lives in your repository, in your languages. Ondaclip opens a pull request with it, and your team reviews it and decides.
- Reviewed like code.Comments, requested changes, approval.
- Your test IDs.Ondaclip suggests any missing ones in a pull request.
- Nothing hidden.Everything filmed and narrated is written out in plain text.
2The check
A check in every release.
Alongside your tests and build, Ondaclip shows which videos a change affects, re-films them on Ondaclip Cloud or in your own infrastructure, then asks for your approval. On a pull request, it shows which user flows still work: every video is a passing test.
- Warn or block. You decide whether an out-of-date tutorial blocks the release.
- Only affected videos. The rest stay as they are, at no cost.
- Your approval first.Nothing is published without a human sign-off.
3Provenance
Every video knows where it came from.
Each video has a history: the product version, the script, the engine version and who approved it.
Invite a colleague · History
| Version | Script | Engine | Approved by |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5 | a41c9e2 | v0.19 | Léa, Oct 12 |
| 2.4 | 7be03d1 | v0.18 | Léa, Oct 2 |
| 2.3 | 7be03d1 | v0.17 | Samir, Sep 19 |
2.5 changed the Invite button, so the video was re-filmed. 2.4 changed nothing, so the video stayed the same.
4Problems
What filming finds lands in your issues.
With a screenshot, the screen and the version. Your team decides, what you keep becomes an issue, and each release report shows what's new, still open or fixed.
Questions
What developers ask us
Where do the tutorial scripts live?
In your repository's .ondaclip/ folder: one file per tutorial, versioned and reviewed in pull requests like the rest of your code.
What happens when a release changes a screen?
Every pull request and every release checks your tutorials. Only the affected videos are re-filmed, in all your languages, with a before-and-after view of what changed.
Which apps can Ondaclip film?
Web apps, replayed in a browser, plus Flutter and Android mobile apps, filmed on an emulator.
Can our AI agent write the tutorials?
Yes. Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity or OpenCode can write, check and fix tutorials using the Ondaclip docs and MCP server.
Where do problems found during filming go?
Into your issues, with a screenshot. Each shoot walks through your product just like your customers do, so it doubles as an end-to-end test.
Can we choose the Ondaclip version?
Yes. You pick the engine version and upgrade when you're ready.
Your engine, your pace
Each product pins its engine version and upgrades when it's ready. It runs on Ondaclip Cloud, or in your own infrastructure (Google Cloud today). Read more about security →
