Ondaclip versions
Each Ondaclip version is a tested bundle: the studio and the tools that film your app change together. The studio shows it on the Ondaclip versions page (click the version at the bottom of your account menu), and each run shows what filmed it (“Filmed with”).
What a version tells you
Section titled “What a version tells you”Only what matters for your build:
| Part | What you see | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Web apps | The browser (Chrome) | Your web app is filmed in it |
| Flutter apps | Flutter and Dart | Ondaclip builds your app with them |
| Android | Android SDK (compileSdk), build tools, NDK, Java | The release build of your app uses them |
| Android | The phone in the videos (Android version and API) | Your app runs on it in the videos |
Flutter: the latest stable release
Section titled “Flutter: the latest stable release”Ondaclip uses the latest stable Flutter release. If your pubspec.yaml
(environment.flutter) or your .fvmrc asks for a different version, the
shoot tells you so, clearly, before it builds.
Your product and its version
Section titled “Your product and its version”A product stays on the Ondaclip version it was set up with until you upgrade it in Settings, Where it runs, Update. New runs then use the new version.
